The island of Mallorca is without a doubt one of the biggest treasures that Spain hides. There is a long list of adventures that will make your holidays unforgettable.
That is why we suggest you get lost between the near 100km of sea and mountains. Tag along?
1. Pollença
To arrive to this town that was founded by the romans, we will have to go to the north of the island. We will find there its hermitage, El Calvario, where 365 steps will be waiting for you, one for every day of the year. We suggest you learn its history from beginning to end. To fight the exhaustion, have a real rest in its port, Port de Pollença.
2. Andratx
From one side of the island to another we will go for a walk and explore the beaches and natural areas to discover one of the most beautiful coastal towns in Mallorca. Big cliffs and four little islands will welcome us, one of which is Sa Dragonera, declared Natural Park in 1995, which you must visit.
3. Playas de Mallorca
During this time of the year, when all you want to do is go for a swim in any beach, we suggest some of the beaches that are a must. Mallorca counts with more than 300 beaches of all types, from fine and white sanded to rock beaches, though all of them with crystalline waters. Some of the beaches that we must visit are Can Pastilla, Formentor, Es Trenc and Sa Rápita. So it’s now time to grab a book and enjoy the calmness.
4. The gastronomy
Between so many beaches and walks, aren’t you a bit hungry? It won’t be because of the variety to choose as mallorquin gastronomy is a delicious reflex of the island’s history, counting with typical and unique dishes like the ensïmada, sopas mallorquinas, almond milk, herb liquor and sobrasada.
