The beauty of the island is unquestionable, hence every year thousands of tourists decide to travel to Majorca. Its beauty is so great that it is almost impossible to delimit the places from which one can enjoy the beauty of the island. In addition, as if it weren’t already difficult enough to choose between those already known, new unknown corners keep appearing. However, as we understand that the time to enjoy the island and your villa in Majorca is limited, we will try to specify the viewpoints that you should not miss during your holiday in Majorca.

Mirador de Es Colomer  / Es Colomer Viewpoint

If you want to enjoy the best views of the Pollensa area you have to climb to this viewpoint. We don’t tire of saying it, because it’s the pure truth, but the Pollensa area is one of the most beautiful on the island, as well as one of the best places to rent your holiday home in Majorca. Unfortunately, it is a very visited viewpoint, you can see that people know what is good, so we recommend to visit it very early. But once you arrive and are amazed by the incredible views of Cape Formentor and the Sierra de Tramontana, you will see how it has been worth the effort.

Castillo de Bellver - Bellver Castle

Palma is an essential visit and so are the views from this circular castle, the only one in Spain. Thanks to its shape and its elevated location you will be able to enjoy a 360º panoramic view in which you will be able to admire the Bay of Palma, the Tramontana Mountains and the city of Palma itself. In addition to the view of the castle itself, which in itself compensates the visit.

Sa Calobra Road

Yes, even if it’s hard to assume, a road can also be a lookout. It is because of the views of this road, full of curves that takes us to the Cala de Sa Calobra, offers us during its descent or ascent some of the best and wildest views of the island. The road is a spectacle of its own, with 180º bends and even an impressive 360º bend. Taking advantage of the visit, we recommend visiting the Torrent de Pareis, which can also be reached by boat.

Mirador de Ses Ánimes / Viewpoint of Ses Ánimes  (Tower of the Verger)

This defensive watchtower known as ‘Torre del Verger’ is located in the heart of the Tramuntana mountain range. The views from the tower in the background, as well as from the tower itself, are another must-see during your holidays in Majorca. For many it is also one of the places where you can enjoy one of the most beautiful sunsets on the island.

Finally, recommend the views from the Mondragó Natural Park which, although not a lookout in itself, has one of the most impressive natural beauty of the island. In addition, if you are going to rent your villa in Majorca in Cala d’Or, you will be only 6km away.

As you can see, and as you will see, there is a lot to see in Majorca.
