Mallorca is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Spain. To discover Mallorca means to discover idyllic coves, a city with one of the best preserved historical centers in Europe, striking villages in the Sierra Tramontana mountains and absolutely fascinating places to visit.

A perfect example where you can find paradise on the island is by taking a visit to Caló des Moro. This idyllic cove is protected by natural clear turquoise water and white sand, quietly nestled between rocks and pine trees.

It’s clear water is ideal for diving. The rocks and pine trees offer an ideal place for rest and relaxation in the summer heat.

As the sun goes up it faces the cove but as the sun goes down it overshadows the creek.

Being a bit hidden, it is difficult to reach because of the lack of signs but that’s what makes it all the more interesting to find. There are two ways to get there, by walking or driving. About halfway between Santanyi and Ses Salines, the road leads to Cala Llombars, where you’ll find a painted sign for Cala S'Almunia. There you will find parking for those arriving by car. From that point forward you’ll have to walk, starting with 120 steps to the left where you’ll find Cala S'Almunia. You then take to the right and down a slope of some somewhat dangerous rocks, so bring good walking shoes! Finally you’ll reach Cala Des Moro.

If you’re going by foot, you’ll have to go to Cala Llombars and continue towards the sea until you reach a do no enter sign, where you’ll find a path that runs along the cliffs with wonderful views that you’re sure to never forget and finally you will see Cala Des Moro from above.

Now only enjoy your villa and the amazing island of Mallorca!
