ENJOY LEISURE IN MALLORCA

Despite it being a relatively small island, Mallorca has developed a wide selection of very interesting leisure activities due to the large influx of tourists it receives each year. Nightclubs and water parks are some of the entertainment activities that brighten Mallorcan days and nights. There are organized excursions for those not wishing, or able, to go to these places on their own. In any case, almost all tourist areas on the island have nightclubs and pubs for all budgets and tastes.

Mallorca also offers daytime entertainment for the young and old. Water parks are the most refreshing places to spend a summer day; for example the Hidropark, located in Alcudia.

The following is a small selection of other suggested daytime activities:

Golf Hidropark - located in the Port of Alcudia, it is suitable for both experts and beginners. Access is through the Hidropark water park.

Marineland - a dolphinarium located in Costa d'en Blanes (Calvià). It offers a show with the participation of dolphins and seals, as well as other fun attractions.

Golf Fantasia - S'Arenal Highway 56, Exit 11. A mini golf course that allows visitors to enjoy this sport as a family.

Sa Coma Safari Zoo - on the road from Porto Cristo to Cala Millor. An African reserve where you can see rhinoceroses, crocodiles, tigers, zebras, hippopotamuses... The visit can be done by car or with the Autosafari Express train, which begins its journey in the enclosure every 45 minutes.

Natura Parc - located in the municipality of Santa Eugenia, it offers a taste of the great diversity of animals native to Mallorca, as well as animals from around world.

Botanicactus - a private garden on the road from Ses Salines to Santanyí, which shows visitors a collection of cacti, palm trees and plants and trees native to the area.

Palma Racecourse - trotter races are held frequently (horses native to Mallorca, trained only to trot and not gallop), where it is possible to place bets, as in the Racecourse in Manacor.
