Culture

If you want to take a dip into the history of the area, you can visit architectural monuments like the convent of Santo Domingo or the Church of the 'Mare de Déu dels Àngels'. The first is a convent built by the Dominicans between the 16^th and 17^th centuries and whose most important altarpiece is dedicated to the Virgen del Rosario. As for the Church of the 'Mare de Déu dels Àngels', although the original was erected in 1236, the one you can visit today was reformed during the 18^th century, which explains its Baroque style.
