It is a wonderful little town set on one of the most beautiful harbours on the island of Mallorca. Located on the west coast and surrounded by the Sierra de Tramuntana, this town has the best that nature has to offer with a magnificent mountain scenery and spectacular sea views that you’re sure to remember.

Although it was not very well known in the past, today it is still one of the most sophisticated and popular spots on the island of Mallorca, especially for holiday destinations. It is only a short ride with a lovely vintage tram to the charming village of Soller where you can enjoy an unforgettable day.

At the bay, one can enjoy the wonderful sandy beach with the boardwalk along the right where you can find a wide range of establishments such as cafes, restaurants and various shops. Port de Sóller retains a fresh and traditional look, but now also includes some more contemporary establishments to enjoy an evening of cocktails with a nice atmosphere.

The gastronomy of the town is linked to the sea. There are a wide range of affordable restaurants to suit all budgets. The tastiest dishes are made with prawns and squid typical of Sóller, captured by local fisherman based in the port itself.

Port de Sóller has a unique beach, divided into two sections: Es Través, which is the longest and Playa d'en Repic, which is the prettiest.

Both beaches are quite narrow and are characterized by being very shallow with the sea being quite calm. Originally a clay sand beach, it is now filled with sand gravel to make it easier to walk. There is rental service available with lounge chairs that you can enjoy for sunbathing, while spending a relaxing day with the family or even rent canoes to enjoy fun times with friends.
