Spectacular views

The sanctuary of Sant Salvador is located about 500 meters high, at the top of the mountain of the same name. Nestled in a spectacular natural setting, the sanctuary becomes the ideal visit for visitors who enjoy the outdoors during their holiday in Majorca.

You can access it both on foot and by car. If you enjoy walking, we recommend the ascent on foot by secondary roads allowing you to connect with nature and feel peace and relaxation. If you prefer to go by car, the sanctuary has a parking lot.

The Sanctuary

The origins of the sanctuary of Sant Salvador are located in the year 1348, year in which Pedro III the ceremonious gives the population of Felanitx the privilege of building a chapel.

At the beginning of the 18th century the new sanctuary was built, which still exists today, and whose main altarpiece is dedicated to the Virgen de San Salvador.

The visit to the church is free. A mass is celebrated on Sundays.
