The Majorcan natural beauty is uniquely beautiful. The Tramuntana mountains, surrounded by turquoise sea, sunny olive groves, the most beautiful villages, etc. During your stay in Mallorca you should definitely visit these 7 most spectacular viewpoints.

Bellver Castle

Let us start with the most emblematic viewpoint of Palma de Mallorca - Bellver Castle, which has a surprisingly circular shape and offers excellent views of the Bay of Palma and the Serra de Tramuntana. In addition to the view of the castle itself, which in itself is worth a visit, you can walk through a beautiful pine forest. You can reach the castle on foot, by public transport or by car.

Sa Calobra Road

Yes, even if it is hard to imagine, a path can also be a lookout. The view of this winding road that takes us to Cala de Sa Calobra offers us some of the best and most spectacular views of the island as we descend or ascend. The road is a spectacle in itself, with 180º bends and even an impressive 360º bend. We recommend a visit to the Torrent de Pareis, which can also be reached by boat.

Cap de Formentor

Es Colomer viewpoint

Some say that Mallorca's northernmost point offers the most spectacular views of the Balearic Islands. If you want to enjoy the best views of the Pollensa area, you must climb to the Es Colomer viewpoint. Once there, you will be amazed by the incredible views of the Cap de Formentor and the Sierra de Tramuntana mountains. If you continue along the road, you will end up at the lighthouse, from where you can see Menorca on a clear day; and you can even climb the tower to enjoy the best views of the Bay of Alcudia.

Puig de Randa and the Cura Sanctuary

In contrast to the rugged west coast of Mallorca, the east is almost completely flat except for the Puig de Randa, a hill 543 meters high that oversees much of the island. As it often happens with famous mountains, there is a sanctuary and monastery at the top, in this case dedicated to Our Virgin Lady of Cura. You can visit the historic building, but the best part are the breathtaking views of the island.

Viewpoint of Ses Ánimes  - Tower of the Verger

This watchtower known as "Torre del Verger" is located in the heart of the Tramuntana Mountains, near the beautiful Mallorcan village of Banyalbufar. The view from the tower in the background as well as from the tower itself is another must during your holiday in Mallorca. For many, it is also one of the places where you can enjoy one of the most beautiful sunsets on the island.

Sa Dragonera Viewpoint

Watching the sun set and melting into the Mediterranean is a luxury one can truly enjoy in the Balearic Islands. Anywhere on the western coast is an option, but the sunset over Dragonera Island has a special charm. Just go to Sant Elm (San Telmo) and find a good viewpoint by the sea, there are many little paths that lead to the coast. And if you like hiking you can climb La Trapa, a lovely loop trail through mountains with an amazing view to Dragon Island.

Port de Soller

Port de Sóller is a beautiful port in the Serra de Tramuntana with many charming viewpoints, but one of them is definitely worth a visit. Treat yourself to a break at the Restaurant Nautilus. This restaurant has a terrace with a magnificent panoramic view of the Mediterranean Sea. Definitely one of the restaurants with the best views in Mallorca.

The beauty of the island is undeniable, as if it wasn't already difficult enough to choose between the best viewpoints of Mallorca, which are already known, new unknown corners keep appearing...
