Built in 1925 and belonging to the same family by then, this huge “finca” (traditional Mallorcan farmhouse) is now a comfortable independent holiday home with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, private pool and extensive outdoor areas providing privacy and seclusion in a truly authentic atmosphere. The history that made great this property can still be visible everywhere on the premises: precious handmade tissues of Pollensa decorate the internal walls, while old agricultural tools are still visible all around the surrounding gardens and fields (measuring the impressive size of more than 220.000 sqm).

Therefore renting Villa Cals Frares for a holiday not only means staying close to sandy beaches (Puerto Pollensa or Cala Sant Vicenç are less than 10 minutes away by car) and pretty towns, but also means renting a piece of the history that made great this island and its proud people.

Inside, the villa is set over 2 floors and has been carefully furnished to mantain the taste, style and traditions of the Mallorcan fincas. On the ground floor there is a comfortable lounge with TV, wi-fi internet access, sofas and armchairs together with a separate kitchen/dining area, an attractive double bedroom with antique furniture and a family bathroom with shower. Both the lounge and the kitchen have access to the outside, respectively to a covered porch (that houses a sort of “museum” of Mallorcan traditions) and to an outdoor shaded dining area with table, chairs, sink and barbecue. Upstairs there are 2 further bedrooms and an extra bathroom (en-suite). The master bedroom, with its comfortable bed, precious headboard with handmade tissues from Pollensa, walk-in wardrobe and en-suite shower room is a true oasis of peace. The other bedroom, once again finished to the highest standard and full of history, is a twin.

The outdoor areas of Villa Cals Frares are definitely second to none. Guests will have at their disposal virtually unlimited space, stretching from the woods up on the hill down to the lane connecting Pollensa to Lluc. The private swimming pool is equipped with comfortable sunbeds and parasols. It offers total privacy and unobstructed panoramic views over the valley beyond.
