Stylish, elegant and stone-built, Villa Rostoya is a large country house with private swimming pool, enjoying a quiet and relaxing location just outside the old town of Pollensa. Surrounded by extensive private gardens and extensive shaded terraces and beautifully finished inside, this property has all the ingredients to turn a holiday into a memorable experience. With 4 bedrooms (air-conditioned), 3 bathrooms and wide common areas, the villa can comfortably sleep up to 8 guests.
Inside, the villa is set over 2 floors and has been carefully design to offer an extremely light and airy feeling, rich of charme together with modern elements. On the ground floor there is a large lounge with adjoining kitchen/dining. The lounge is provided with comfortable sofas, satellite TV, DVD player and wi-fi internet connection. The attractive, purposedly-built kitchen is fully equipped for the preparation of any kinds of meals (5 cooking rings, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, diswwasher, washing machine in a separate utility room) and has big patio doors leading directly outside to the beautifully furnished poolside terraces. On the ground floor (separated by 2 steps from the lounge) there are 3 twin bedrooms and 2 bathrooms: 1 en-suite twin bedroom (bathroom with bathtub) and 2 twin bedrooms sharing a family shower room. The bedrooms have been carefully finished and furnished to provide an extremely homely yet sophisticated feeling. Located on the upper floor, the master bedroom suite (double, with en-suite bathtroom with bathtub) is a true delight with four-posted bed and writing desk. All the bedrooms are air-conditioned and central heating, if required, can be provided for an extra charge during the winter months.
The superb swimming pool is accessed from both the lounge and the dining room. There are extensive gardens with lawns on all sides of the swimming pool. It is a lovely spot for a relaxing day in the sun and for enjoying the stunning scenery. Comfortable sunbeds are provided, together with shades for the hottest hours of the day. The villa is also surrounded by stunning terraces, well furnished and perfect for al-fresco dining (a brick-built barbecue is also available).

Another very happy week at Villa Rostoya. Accommodation works very well and the villa is well situated within comfortable walking distance of the centre of Pollença. Well looked after pool and gardens. Caretaker lady fabulous!

A beautiful stay at a lovely villa

We loved the location of the villa being so close to Pollenca, the style and aspect of the villa were superb. Thr gardens are beautiful, and the area around the pool is wonderful. The dining and outside space is really fun and the owners have done a see more

Inside, there is plenty of space with a good ratio of bathrooms to bedrooms. I also appreciated the advance notice about road closures for the Ironman which crossed over with our departure day and thank you for informing us about it. |

The beds are a real letdown of the villa, the downstairs bedroom mattresses are very hard and could do with having a mattress topper added.
The upstairs bedroom whilst comfortable the bed itself is exceptionally noisy and creaks like mad even to see more

The upstairs bedroom whilst comfortable the bed itself is exceptionally noisy and creaks like mad even to sit on the bed. We stayed with a young infant who slept in a cot, every time we turned in the bed the creaking of the wood woke the baby up. I think the bed frame needs improving or replacing. It was incredibly noisy to sleep on. There needs to be more bedding supplied, a sheet and a small blanket are not adequate enough for the shoulder season, I'd recommend adding additional duvets or blankets into each of the rooms so that guests can use these when they are cooler. The pre-arrival information was very sparse and poor and would have been easy to have given further information surrounding our stay. Particularly around bins and recycling, e.g. give us the nearest and most convenient location to dispose of the bins, where the nearest recycling area is etc. There were also no instructions inside the house on how to work things and I think this is necessary. Finally, it would be helpful to have more basic items left on arrival for guests. Whether this is because of covid I am not sure, but to have to shop for absolutely everything wasn't very helpful (for example salt, pepper, cooking oil). Surely every guest does the same. It would also have been fair to have given us more than just two toilet rolls to have started with. |
